Read below for the answers to all your tanning questions!
Pre Tan preparation
Preparing before a spray tan is crucial, the more you follow the below guidelines the nicer and longer lasting your spray tans will be.
Hair removal - Its best to wax at least a day before your tan, shaving can be left till the morning of your tan.
Exfoliation - Either the night before or the morning of your tan, to allow for the removal of dead skin cells. Exfoliation plays a huge part in the life of your tan.Shower - If possible it's a good idea to have a shower prior to your tan, ensuring you do not apply any deodorant, moisturizer or makeup afterwards, as the cleaner your skin the better the tan will develop. In saying that however, if you do not have a chance to remove your makeup its not a big deal.
Tan time
With us we bring a pop up tent, disposable g strings and hairnets and all product. We do ask however that you think of a good area, with suitable lighting and a power point, for us to set out equipment up and please ensure you have cash on you. The tan will take approx 20 minutes from set up to pack down and tan takes 12 hours to develop fully.
NB: Please ensure you have cash ready to give to your lovely tanner,we do offer a bank deposit service however this is generally reserved for repeat customers.
Post Tan Care
The product is quick drying however there are a few tips..
Clothing— It is best to wear dark loose clothing after your tan, and refrain from wearing a bra for as long as possible. We suggest trackies and a t-shirt for your post tan outfit.
Showering—You must not shower for at least 12 hours. This means stay away from all water (Good excuse to get out of the washing up). When you do shower the bronzer will wash off you, to reveal your glowing tan. It's a good idea to refrain from using bar soap and shaving as less as possible as they will both wear away the tan as will chlorine.
Moisturize—The more you do so, the longer the tan will last. Our tans can last anywhere between 5 and 8 days.
