TIP #1: You can apply multiple layers of tan onto your body, BUT this will not make you darker. Your skin has a certain amount of Melanin in it and your tan will react to your Meanin level. You will find if you put on more and more coats, you will end up with streaks and patches.
TIP #2: Chlorine is your tans worst enemy! If you enter a spa or a pool - enter brown, exit "not so brown". Chlorine will basically strip the tan from your body and we recommend you avoid this at all costs.
TIP #3: "Will the ocean water affect my tan"? Not at all, however it is important to pat yourself dry with your towel and moisturise soon after your swim.
TIP #4: In hot weather it is best to tan in a cool room and ensure YOU are cool before your tan - if the body has sweat or is moist then the tan will not absorb as well, or you may get streaks.
TIP #5: If you are in the middle of your menstrual cycle (women only) your tan may not be as dark, this is all to do with your hormones and something we can not avoid. Stress and diet can also affect your tan - however this is not as common.
